Preparation covers mechanical grinding, shot blasting, crack and joint repair and levelling (if necessary), all carried out on site by our own teams using our own equipment; finishing covers the seal or top coat, the gloss level, anti-slip aggregate and any line marking or zoning you need. Surface preparation involves preparing the substrate (through grinding or shot blasting) to create a suitable foundation for the resin application. This phase typically accounts for the largest portion of installation time, but is critical for its long-term performance and durability. The resin system is applied in stages – usually a primer first, followed by a base coat, and finished with a final seal or top layer (and potentially added chemical protection or slip resistance).

YorkHouse Foods
YorkHouse Foods supply cooked meats to national pub and restaurant chains and were installing new industrial ovens at their site near Bedford. To maintain production the entire floor had to be replaced in four days. Once the engineering contractor had removed the old ovens we stripped out the corroded sub floor and replaced it with a fast-curing resin system, which allowed the new ovens to be installed the next day. Polyurethane screed and coving followed across the remaining area, and the project completed on schedule.
